Since October 2025, more than 1,000 guests have gathered across cities in North American and Europe to celebrate the release of Tom Kundig: Complete Houses, published by Monacelli.

Now, principal/owner & founder Tom Kundig, FAIA, RIBA, continues his book tour with planned stops in Australia, Portland, and Los Angeles. Each stop will offer an opportunity to dive deeper into Tom’s creative process, design philosophy, and the stories behind some of his most iconic houses, followed by book signing.

The Tom Kundig: Complete Houses 2026 book tour will start in Auckland on May 12, where Tom will be in conversation with design publication The Local Project. On May 16 at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, Tom will sit down with Simon Knott of BKK Architects. Finally, on May 18 at the Utzon Room at the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Tom will join Stephen Todd of the Australian Financial Review for a conversation titled, “Tom Kundig: Four Decades of Evolution and Innovation.”

Copies of Tom Kundig: Complete Houses will be available for purchase at each event. Details and registration for the Australia events are below.
