800 Fifth Avenue Recognized by AIA Seattle Awards

2023/11/07

On November 7, 800 Fifth Avenue (led by design principal Kirsten Ring Murray, FAIA) received an Award of Merit from the 2023 AIA Seattle Honor Awards for Washington Architecture. This annual awards program recognizes architectural design excellence in projects and firms across Washington State.

The repositioning of 800 Fifth Avenue, a LEED Platinum building in Seattle’s downtown core, updates the role of the modern urban workplace by creating an experience that is better than home. The updated design weaves together interconnected volumes inspired by the core common spaces found in a home to create a new unified experience of place.

As a firm deeply rooted in the Pacific Northwest, we are honored to have our work recognized by this program, and thankful to the valued clients and project partners we had the opportunity to work with throughout the project’s design and construction. Visit AIA Seattle for more information on the award program and other winning projects!
