Tom Kundig & Bigwood Residence Team Featured on Building Your Dream Home Panel

On April 22, Olson Kundig principal and owner Tom Kundig, FAIA, RIBA, was a featured guest on Building Your Dream Home, part of a panel series presented by Brick & Wonder in partnership with the Financial Times and AIA New York. During this live virtual event, Tom spoke with client Jack Anderson, general contractor Jim Dow of Dowbuilt and interior designer Carol Schaefer about the process of designing and building Bigwood Residence, a modern retreat in Sun Valley, Idaho.
During the discussion, the team shared their memories of the project, including the first time Tom visited the site and Jack’s early vision for the home, as well as some of the key design moves and special moments integrated throughout the project. The team also shared their insight about what makes a project successful, how clients can support the process of designing and building their dream home, and more.
