The Century Project Featured in New Documentary

The Century Project, Olson Kundig’s renovation of Seattle’s iconic Space Needle, is the subject of a recent documentary now available on Amazon Prime Video. Space Needle Looking Upwards traces the history of the tower’s design and construction in the early 1960s, as well as the story of the $100 million renovation that honors this original design intent.

The documentary features historic imagery and video highlighting the innovation and creativity that surrounded the Space Needle’s conception for the 1962 World’s Fair. Commentary from the Space Needle’s owners, local historians, and the builders, designers and engineers involved with both the original tower and its renovation – including Olson Kundig principal/owner Alan Maskin, who led The Century Project design – bring this exciting story to life for modern audiences.

Space Needle Looking Upwards was created and produced by Chad Copeland, and directed by Nik Kleverov. Visit Amazon Prime Video to watch today!
