The Tacoma Art Museum introduces its visitors to an impressive collection of contemporary art, moving them through the museum in a dynamic experience. Our competition entry for the Tacoma Art Museum Plaza Redesign proposes that the journey expand and unfold through a series of dynamic exterior spaces that bring together art, nature, and gathering places.

We were awarded the commission for the Plaza Redesign in October 2009. Over 95 firms from around the country submitted entries to the competition.
