The exclusive Born in Blue album crate architecture was developed in collaboration with Alan Maskin and Blair Payson of Olson Kundig, who specialize in museum and exhibit installations that fuse art and architecture. The design was inspired by the firm’s experimental installation space, [storefront] Olson Kundig, an ideas incubator and cultural commons that included a record store installation where nothing was for sale.
