Filtered and reflected light and unexpected use of multimedia play a starring role in the lobby of this international advertising agency. Light slots embedded in new partitions help to define the entry path to the reception desk, while video and sound dynamically communicate the firm’s identity to visitors and clients. The redesign continues into the elevators where fluorescent lighting is installed above translucent, luminous ceiling panels. At night, the reflected, glowing entry lighting is visible from the exterior, dramatically announcing Publicis’ presence at the street level.
