Located on the eighth floor of the Pacific Building in downtown Seattle, the design for creative agency Digital Kitchen features a constellation of collaborative breakout spaces, including a long work counter, changeable seating areas and a live pin-up wall. A central core of editing suites clad in dark wood anchors the otherwise light-filled, open-plan office. This central “terra firma” also contains new storage areas for the company’s digital servers and technology equipment, clad in perforated metal screens. The refined, cohesive space upends traditional workplace definitions, answering the agency’s focus on both creative strategizing and digital production work.
