At Olson Kundig, Michael has worked on a wide range of projects, including single-family residences, community art centers and museums, life sciences facilities, retail spaces, and offices. As a generalist architect, he excels in all aspects of the design process, from technical development to collaboration with fabricators and craftspeople, and has extensive experience seeing projects through from concept to construction. Michael is committed to quality assurance and control (QA/QC) and supports Olson Kundig’s internal continuing education initiative, known as OKU.

Michael’s passion for architecture began in childhood when he built a backyard fort with a friend, sparking his interest in construction and design. To this day, he continues to hone his skills through woodworking and home improvement projects. As a colleague, Michael is serious yet maintains a light-hearted demeanor and is always ready for a good laugh.
