Matt Boker’s nine years of architectural experience reflect a story of placemaking in urban environments. From towers in China to masterplans in Chicago, his designs thoughtfully respond to the cities they inhabit, informed by his training in New York City, where he earned his master’s in architecture from Pratt Institute and worked for several firms in Manhattan.

Since joining Olson Kundig in 2022, Matt has channeled his enthusiasm for multifamily architecture, crafting high-end residential and hospitality projects in outdoor recreation destinations. He leverages his experience in early design and development phases to guide clients through the project lifecycle, fostering an engaged and collaborative relationship. Adept at aligning client priorities with design intent, he develops design solutions that balance the original vision with project constraints.
Matt’s passion for urban space is matched by his commitment to building strong industry relationships. As a liaison for Olson Kundig, his affable nature allows him to pursue client-facing roles, build networks at industry events, and identify new markets and business development opportunities for the firm. Additionally, Matt is active in Urban Land Institute’s leadership development initiatives, with years of committee leadership roles, including his term as Co-Chair of ULI Americas YLG and as a member of Americas Executive Committee.
