His guiding principle is to exceed client expectations by delivering exceptional, mission-aligned designs while responsibly managing their resources.
David’s work encompasses a diverse range of projects, including higher education facilities, cultural institutions, civic buildings, and residential spaces. His portfolio features noteworthy projects such as a window factory, an AIA 25-Year Award-winning office building in London, the restoration of national historic buildings, a children’s museum, and student centers. This breadth of experience has equipped him to navigate various project types that enrich how people live, learn, play, and work.
In addition to his professional practice, David has mentored students in the Virginia Tech Chicago Studio program for the past eight years, sharing his knowledge and passion for architecture with the next generation of designers.
